Welcome to 2018. Burn down the old and welcome the new.

In case you missed it, Futurism and WIRED have named the Coca-Cola billboard one of their favorite inventions of 2017. We couldn't be happier that our first and largest 3D robotic billboard is among some amazing, world-changing company.

Meanwhile, our team in Venice rolled out work for Nike's N7 collection, created to support positive experiences in sport and physical activity for Native American and Aboriginal youth in North America with proceeds from the collection going back to Native communities. You can check out the anthem video here. More on this below.

Here's to a productive and stellar 2018. Cheers!

Three Things to Watch

Here are three tech trends you might have missed in December:

Seven Technologies to Watch in 2018
Lance Ulanoff is one of the sharpest voices in technology. This is a pretty entry-level rundown of the big tech on the horizon, but it makes for good conversation while doing puzzles with your aunt on Christmas eve. The most interesting point in this article is the shift of artificial intelligence from personal assistants, to widespread AI in the workplace.

Facebook Launches a Messenger App for Kids
Facebook is the largest network in the history of the human race. It is impossible to stop its pervasive growth, and this is the latest example. Because one in every three persons in the world are now on Facebook, the company must seek out new markets where they can continue to expand. It is natural that this would lead them to begin rolling out products for children.

Speaking of AI…. The Future is Going to Get Crazy
This Buzzfeed article has been making the rounds and is definitely worth reading while you block out your Lyft driver's shouted Super Bowl predictions. Much of the article rests on the bold statement Elon made this summer that "AI is a fundamental risk to the existence of human civilization."

Nike N7: Nike + space150 Celebrate Native Communities
In November, Nike and space150 celebrated Native American Heritage Month, and the release of their new N7 collection. The campaign, #DARETORISE, is part of Nike's broader equality effort, and stories from Nike's N7 ambassadors, including more than 12 individual stories, appeared across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Nike.com, and the Nike+ app.

The N7 foundation was created to support positive experiences in sport for Native American and Aboriginal youth in North America with proceeds from the collection going back to Native communities.
